More Than Polish: Introducing Colors for Causes
Giving back has always been part of the Cape Cod Nail Co. story.
From donating products and services to community fundraisers, to single-polish collaborations like our Waves of Hopepartnership with friends in Nicaragua, to donating our time speaking with students and at events about women in leadership and entrepreneurship — we’ve always looked for ways to use our platform to support and inspire causes that matter, both locally and beyond.
But as our business grew, we kept coming back to the same question:
How do we give back in a way that’s meaningful and sustainable for a small business?
One-off fundraisers are powerful, but they can also be exhausting and limited in reach. We wanted a model that allowed generosity to be built into the work itself — something intentional, transparent, and long-term.
That question is what led to the creation of Colors for Causes.
A More Sustainable Way to Give Back
Colors for Causes was created as a sister nonprofit to Cape Cod Nail Co. with a clear mission:
to support meaningful causes through purpose-driven polish.
Instead of occasional fundraising pushes, this model allows us to design intentional collaborations where the product itself fuels the impact. Each launch is tied to a specific cause, with clear goals and real outcomes.
And when it came time to choose the very first launch, the direction felt obvious.
Why We Created the Dance Edition
The Dance Edition is the very first Colors for Causes launch — and it was intentionally modeled around a scholarship.
Why? Because access matters.
Dance is powerful. It builds confidence, discipline, creativity, and community — but it also comes with real financial barriers. Classes, costumes, travel, competitions… it adds up quickly, and not every family has the same access or support.
This one is also close to my heart.
My son, Connor, is a passionate dancer. Watching him grow through dance — inspiring doesn't even cover it. It's also shown me how life-changing the arts can be and...how many talented kids are held back simply because of cost.
A scholarship felt like the most direct, meaningful way to create opportunity — not just for one moment, but for future dancers as well.
Why the Dance Edition Matters
The Dance Edition is about more than polish.
It’s about creating access.
It’s about investing in young artists.
It’s about building something that lasts beyond a single event or season.
100% of proceeds from this set fund a youth dance scholarship, with the first round opening on April 2, 2026. Every purchase helps build that fund and brings us one step closer to supporting dancers who need a little extra help pursuing what they love.
This is the kind of impact we believe in — thoughtful, transparent, and rooted in real need.
About the Dance Edition Trio
We wanted these shades to feel timeless, wearable, and truly special — colors you’ll reach for again and again.
🩰 Wing It!
A semi-sheer milky pinky white — clean, soft, and endlessly flattering.
(It’s also the most requested shade we get, both in and out of the salon!)
✨ Chassé All Day
A soft silver glitter topper that layers beautifully solo or over any color.
🎀 On Pointe
The perfect ballet pink — classic, elegant, and universally loved.
As always, these are the same professional-quality, long-wearing, 21-free polishes you know and love from Cape Cod Nail Co.
How Your Purchase Makes an Impact
When you purchase the Dance Edition set, you’re not just buying polish.
You’re helping fund a youth dance scholarship.
You’re supporting a giving model designed to be sustainable.
You’re becoming part of something bigger than a single product launch.
This special collaboration is sold through Colors for Causes, allowing proceeds to directly support the nonprofit’s mission and scholarship programs.
